Chandigarh police cordoned off the realm behind Burail Jail after some suspicious materials was discovered on Saturday.
Bomb squad reached the spot and located burnt codex wire and a detonator. In the meantime, hearth engines and ambulances have been saved on standby in case of any emergency.
“Suspicious exercise was famous behind the Burail Jail in Chandigarh and as we reached the spot, some objectionable materials was discovered. Once we referred to as a bomb disposal staff, we bought to know that materials was prima facie a burnt codex wire and a detonator. The entire space is cordoned off and we’re taking each obligatory measure,” Kuldeep Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh advised information company ANI.
“All groups together with ambulance, hearth brigade are in place. We might be on standby. We’ll transfer as and after we are requested to within the morning. It (suspicious materials) has been lined to stop any harm. The world has been cordoned off,” stated Sanjeev Kohli, Nodal Officer, Catastrophe Administration.
