Caleb Farley, cornerback for the Tennessee Titans, started his NFL career with a split and an injury. And that lasted until 2022, with Farley now likely to miss the rest of the season.

Because of his history of physical issues, which seem to accumulate, many Titans fans sympathize with the former first-round pick.

There have been caveats since his days as a Virginia Tech hockey player. Injuries are always difficult to predict, a notable one behind Farley before his release from the NFL.

Although he pulled out of the 2020 season due to concerns about the coronavirus, another back problem developed during the pre-draft process.

That undoubtedly scared some teams away from signing him right away, but the Titans weren't one of them. Additionally, the former Hokie has had two separate surgeries in five years.

The back problem unfortunately returned as a herniated plate. The North Carolina native was placed on the injured reserve list for the next four games due to illness.

In any case, Farley makes it abundantly clear during the conversation that he has no intention of giving up his dream of playing football anytime soon.
